The 780 from EVGA is a great choice! Congrats. I have a EVGA 780Ti SC myself and Dat Warranty...
I believe EVGA has a step up program too, so you can trade in for a purchase of new card.

I recommend GTX 760 Gaming Edition OC! 239e and i also overclocked it a bit and i have not regretted it for a moment! I have FX-6300 as CPU and my fps is at battlefield 3 when idling about 90-110 and firefights in rare cases it drops to 50 (Graphics are Ultra)
