I think @Phillip was looking at this mod https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2093204830 It doesn't look like it adds scanning though. I was on a server before this one with awesome spyglass. It was really helpful. Caused a bit of clientside lag though. Still would be nice.

My current motivation for this is Genesis. I would love to breed ferox or mosasaurs but having to plan around a gestation timer has been discouraging.
